On behalf of the Board of Directors, welcome to the official website of Eta Sigma Gamma, the National Health Education Honorary. Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) has enjoyed a rich history of partnering with other professional health organizations to promote the profession of health education and health promotion since 1967. Our local chapters, at more than 100 universities and colleges in the U.S., enhance the professional development of students through involvement in health education activities, providing leadership and advocacy opportunities, recognizing academic achievements, and networking experiences with health professionals and fellow Gammans.

 
Much of what we have achieved over the past four decades is a result of team work by Gammans, faculty mentors, and ESG board members. While we rejoice at our achievements, partnerships, and triumph over milestones, we have many tasks ahead of us e.g., to make our website more dynamic & enhance our member’s professional skills and knowledge by providing resources and opportunities to meet the challenges of the 21st century!
