Becoming a Member

Student Membership

Membership for students in Eta Sigma Gamma can only be achieved by affiliating through a collegiate chapter. All chapters have different qualifications when becoming a new initiate. At the collegiate level, initiates must uphold the goals of the honorary by participating in events related to education, research, and service. In addition to those three areas, each member must maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher, attend Chapter meetings, participate in at least one Chapter committee and pay an initiation fee of $40.00.

Professional Membership

Professionals active in the profession of health education and holding a degree can affiliate through the chapter-at-large. Please send your completed application PDF and initiation payment of $50.00* to:
